One of the four pillars we stand on, Education, is integrated in all the conferences NVR Foundation sponsors. We educate scientists about the application and review process for government grant funding.
Each conference that the NVR Foundation hosts, holds an educational session known as a “Mock Study.” This process allows researchers to step in the shoes of NIH reviewers. Researchers learn to improve their grant writing process, they learn what reviewers are looking for, and how their proposals are scored.
The NVR Foundation sponsors over a dozen scholars and represents researchers in over twenty states from over fifty schools that include five of the eight Ivy League schools in the U.S.
Our principal conference, the Charleston Conference on Alzheimer’s Disease (A.D.), integrates researchers from varied backgrounds studying AD.
